Male 54 Plano, Texas, Behind every great man is a great woman...(seeking an inmate is a new thought I'm sending what I send to eHarmony members so keep that mind as you read). I am a writer.(unpublished) I write Christian literature, songs and poetry. I've written a lot of secular songs too and stuff that's spiritual but not overtly Christian. I want to form a 501(C)3 & begin a parachurch ministry. I know a man who has a radio station and want to get 15 or 30 minutes a week to share my message. My ministry is mainly teaching. I believe people have a lot of misconceptions about the Christian faith. A large part of what I do is bring these things to light. I have a burden for people who are dealing with mental & emotional issues and for unchurched believers. I'm also an artist, I do collage and sculpture and other stuff, it's all kinda abstract - I don't have much time for it now but I want to pursue it. I also want to bring new products into the market place (find a need & fill it) You have to make the proto-type first (the first model of the product)I have a ton of ideas. I need a work shop to do this which I now don't have. I need a studio for my art and music too. So I'm trying to find a way to get a house. I worked in construction and remodeling for years so I can take a broken down house and bring up to specs even do add ons. I'll need a study to - for prayer and bible study which I spend a lot of time at. I'm convinced I will not be able to accomplish any of these things without a loving, supportive woman by my side. I'm definitely a leader strong and authoritative but I'm also sensitive and needy. I lost my mom at 8, not to death but abandonment. I moved 6 or 7 times between the ages of 8 and 15.(Group homes back & forth between my aunts & dads stayed with a friend was on the street awhile etc.etc.) My father wasn't really there for me either. These things, among other things have contributed to my depression and mood disorder I'm on a good regimen of meds now and am more stable than I've ever been. Social interaction is what I lack most. Good positive social interaction. Both where I'm helping others and others are helping me. I've gotten what I like to call a "Revelation of Love". One man and one woman devoted to one another equal more than the sum of their parts. My prayer is that God will teach me how to love my future wife the way he intended for a husband to love a wife, he's already showing me so many things. The love between a man & a woman is sacred and divine. A man shall leave his father & mother & cleave unto his wife and the 2 shall become 1 flesh: Genesis 2:24. When a man & a woman can achieve the kind of oneness that God intended... - it's beyond words. I know now that I must devote my eyes to her my hands to her, my thoughts to her, my heart to her. My life is hers, hers is mine. We are one. We keep nothing hidden from one another. We bare our souls to one another. My Christian preferences: I point people to Jesus & the Bible. I am non-sectarian. I like the words of this song by Russ Taff. - Your my brother your my sister so take me by the hand/Together we will work until He comes/There's no foe that can defeat us/ When were walking side by side/As long as there is love we will stand/And no matter the label that you wear/If you believe in Jesus you belong with me...I'm interested in - What I'm looking for: Without question a marriage. My counterpart, a kindred spirit. I haven't made up my mind yet whether I will date one woman at a time, and we will decided together whether were meant to be together, if so we will marry if not we will move on. But that will probably be the case. I want a woman that belongs to me and I belong to her, we belong to each other. Looks are important. But not like they used to be. You don't have to be Miss America or a Barbie Doll. Just like I'm not Mr. America or Ken. But I think we should find each other appealing. How would you like to be married to someone who said they didn't find you appealing? I wouldn't want to be. But finding someone appealing go's beyond their outward appearance. If you discover your counterpart(what some call a soul mate),a kindred spirit, your drawn to them by something that transcends looks, something intangible. What is that something? If I could tell you it wouldn't be intangible would it? I could try & explain but it would take to many paragraphs. I think most would get my meaning. You must be a Christian or want to become one. I hope the one I find has come to understand why a man and a woman who are married to one another must be devoted to one another. We have to be #1 in each others lives. I have a Father, brothers & sisters, children & their mother, I have a connection & a responsibility to all of them, but my wife must come 1st, that's the way God meant it to be. A man shall leave his father & mother & "CLEAVE" unto his wife & the 2 shall become 1 flesh.(Genesis 2:24) Becoming 1 flesh - how can you get closer than that. It's more than a physical union, it's a spiritual one, this truly is beyond words it can't be expressed in words but only known by the humanheart I do want a wife not a girl friend you must want marriage as well.
